The 8-week OS build

Right now, yourbusiness runson you.

The 8-week OS build sets you up with a system built around how you work, run by AI, and owned by you.

Every business has an operating system. Most founders never chose theirs.

An operating system is the way work moves through your business. How a new client, patient or placement gets onboarded. How projects get tracked. How invoices go out. How nothing falls through the cracks.

Most businesses never designed that system. It grew by accident: your memory, a group chat, five tools that don't talk to each other, a spreadsheet someone updates when they remember.

It holds together because you hold it together. You became the operating system. That's why growth feels like drowning: every new client adds load to the one part of the business that can't scale. You.

Most founders try one of two ways out. Neither one fixes it.

Door 1

Hire more people

More salaries, more managing, more of your week spent training and checking work. Good people are hard to find and harder to keep. When one leaves, the whole job lands back on you overnight.

Door 2

Buy more software

Another tool, another login, another thing your team half-uses. The data sits in five places and someone still has to tie it all together. That someone is you.

The problem was never how hard your team works. It's that everything still runs through you. That's the part to fix.

The scaling reality

Every new client adds admin load. More clients, more chaos. That's the trap. An operating system breaks the pattern. Your margins grow and your time comes back.

This shows the shape of the problem rather than a forecast for your business. Your real numbers are what we map in week one.

Work flows through the system. You get decisions, not tasks.

Not an off-the-shelf platform. Every piece is built around how your team already works. The tools shown are just examples.

What it actually is.

It's AI doing your business's routine work. Your team doesn't bend around it the way they bend around off-the-shelf software, and nobody sits there working through your admin by hand.

One rule is built in from day one: the routine runs on its own, but anything that leaves your business, money or a message to a client, waits for a human yes. You choose where that line sits.

We build it custom, around how your business already works. It reads and writes in your email, your client list, your invoicing, your project board. Your team keeps working where they work, and sees one shared, up-to-date picture instead of five half-updated tools.

The result: the chasing, the retyping, the “did anyone send that?” stops landing on your desk.

A real example, start to finish

The one message you get

“Anika is live. Kickoff Thursday 09:00. Invoice ready for your sign-off.”

Yours might be a VAT deadline, a placement, or a patient booking. Week one is where we map it.

What it actually does all day.

It runs the routine.

Onboarding, follow-ups, invoices, reminders. It just happens, the way you would do it.

It holds your standard.

Work gets done to the bar you set, whether or not you're watching.

It keeps everyone on the same page.

Your whole team sees the same, up-to-date picture, instead of five tools and a group chat.

It brings you decisions, not tasks.

The small stuff gets handled. The real calls come to you with the context already gathered.

Four ways this puts money back in the business.

Everything we build has to do at least one of these. If it doesn't, we don't build it.

Sign more clients

Your capacity stops being capped by your hours, so you can say yes again.

Make each client worth more

Nothing slips. Every client gets your standard every time, so they stay longer and spend more.

Spend less to deliver

The admin layer runs itself instead of eating salaries and your evenings.

Depend on fewer people

The business runs without you in every loop, and without us. That last one is worth more than it sounds.

A business that only works when you're in it is risky to own and hard to sell. A business that runs on its own is worth more, full stop. This doesn't just make you more money while it's running. It makes the whole company more valuable.

Systems we've built

Real businesses, running on systems we built them.

Different industries, same pattern: the routine work moves off the founder and onto the system. These are the real ones.

A supplement brand where the founder was the bottleneck between orders, ads, suppliers and customers. Now one system runs the trading floor.

What it runs
  • Orders from placed to packed to shipped, on one board
  • A live revenue and product analytics view
  • Meta ad spend and results synced in
  • An AI assistant that drafts creative and answers questions on the numbers

These are screenshots of live client systems. Client names, personal details and financial figures have been redacted to protect confidentiality. The systems themselves are real and running.

The pieces that show up in almost every build.

Different businesses, the same jobs to do. Open any one for the before, the fix, and the result.

Who it's for. And who it isn't.

Built for you if

  • You run a service business with real clients and a small team.
  • Everything still routes through you, and it's capping your growth.
  • You have demand. What you're short of is capacity.
  • You want to own your system, not rent another subscription.

Not for you if

  • You're pre-revenue and still finding your offer.
  • You want a chatbot, not a way your business runs.
  • You want a tool your team has to bend around.
  • You want it done to you, not built with you.
The build

The eight-week OS build.

One build, fixed scope, done with you. We don't vanish for two months and come back with a finished box. Your side of it is a workshop in week one, then about an hour a week with your team. One hour together, not one hour per person.

Week 1

Map

We workshop with you and your team, trace how work actually moves, and find where the hours bleed out.

Weeks 2-3

Foundation

The core layer goes in. Your clients, projects and money in one place, connected to the tools you already use. Everything is built inside your accounts from day one, so even the work in progress is already yours.

Weeks 4-7

Build live

One piece at a time, put to work the moment it's ready. Weekly sessions train your team as the system grows.

Week 8

Handover

Keys, documentation, ownership. Your team runs it without us.

After week eight.

The system is yours and keeps running on its own. Nothing turns off because we walked out the door.

If you want us to keep building and looking after it, there's an optional monthly retainer. No lock-in: stop it any month, and everything you own keeps working. If one of your tools changes something down the line, we handle it on the retainer, or your team fixes it with the documentation we hand over.

What it costs

One price for the whole build.

Fixed and agreed in writing before week one starts. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no surprise line items at the end.

Split in two

$5,500

USD, total

Two payments across the eight weeks. Half to start, half at the midpoint.

Save 10%Paid in full

$4,950

USD, total

One payment up front, 10% off the full price. Same build, same scope.

What's in it

  • The week-one mapping workshop with you and your team
  • Eight weeks of build, embedded, one piece live at a time
  • Weekly training sessions as each piece goes in
  • Everything built inside your own accounts from day one
  • Handover: keys, documentation, full ownership

After week eight

There's an optional monthly retainer if you want us to keep building and looking after it. We price that on the call, once we know what your system actually needs. It is never required: stop any month and everything you own keeps working.

The AI's own usage

Billed to your account directly, not to us, because the system runs on your accounts. For most businesses it lands closer to a phone bill than a salary.

Handed over. Not rented out.

Yours at the end of it.

This isn't a subscription you rent until the price goes up. It's a system we build into your business, and then hand over.

  • It lives in your accounts: your email, your tools, your logins.
  • The system and its code belong to you. In writing.
  • No platform fees to us, ever. The only thing you can pay us for is more work.
  • It doesn't need us to keep running.

Your client data stays in your business.

Because it's built inside your own accounts, your data never moves into ours. It stays where it lives today.

We sign a confidentiality agreement before we look at anything. If your industry has rules about client information, we build to them.

Our access is yours to revoke. Any day, with one click, including after week eight.

You own it. All of it.

The whole system sits on your accounts, with your data, under your control. We don't hold the keys and there's no licence to keep renewing. If we stopped working together tomorrow, it keeps running exactly as it did.

Most clients keep us on anyway, because the technology moves fast and they'd rather have someone tracking it for them. That work is adding to what the system can do. Keeping it switched on isn't work anyone needs to pay for.

Powerful, and locked down.

Letting AI into your business only works if it's safe. Here's how that gets handled.

An example. Yours is set to your roles in week one, and you can change it any day.

Everyone sees only what they should

Access is set at the data itself, not by asking the AI nicely. Your bookkeeper sees the books. Your newest hire doesn't see the bank balance.

Every action is logged

You can see exactly what it did and when. Nothing happens in the dark.

One database, on your accounts

There's a single source of truth, and it belongs to you.

A simple control panel

You and your team run the whole thing from one screen.

Cristo Van Rensburg, founder of Cornerstone AI
Meet the founder

I started my first business at 16, selling firewood to neighbours.

A year later I was cold calling from my high school classroom. Since then I've built systems across hospitality, construction, real estate, insurance, fintech and franchise operations, and for the founders of a podcast, a financing platform, an accounting practice and a sport academy.

Different industries, same bottleneck every time: the founder had become the operating system of their own business. And the fix was always the same, a real one, built around how they actually work.

The name comes from my faith. Christ is the cornerstone of the church, and that's the foundation this company is built on. People come first. I don't build tech that looks impressive on a slide deck, I build systems that make a difference to the humans using them every day.

Whatever we build, you own outright. No lock-in, no licence, no dependency on us.

Straight answers.

What is an operating system, in plain terms?

The way work actually moves through your business: how a client gets onboarded, how projects get tracked, how invoices go out, how nothing slips. Every business already has one. In most, it's the founder's memory plus a group chat plus five tools that don't talk. We build you a real one, so the work runs through the system instead of through you.

Is this just a chatbot that knows my company?

No. A chatbot answers questions. This does the work. It runs real tasks across your tools, on a loop, without you prompting it, and your whole team uses it. The one rule built in from day one: routine work runs on its own, but anything leaving your business, money or a message to a client, waits for a human yes.

Which tools does it work with?

The ones you already use. Email, WhatsApp, Xero or your bookkeeping tool, spreadsheets, your client list, your project board. Online store, booking calendar, warehouse system: same story. We map your exact stack in week one and tell you then if something can't connect, before anything is built.

How much of my time does this take?

A workshop in week one, then roughly an hour a week with your team, as a group rather than person by person. We build embedded, so you see it working as it goes in rather than waiting eight weeks for a reveal.

My team isn't technical. Will they actually use it?

The usual reason a new system dies is that it was built for a generic company and the team has to bend around how it thinks work should happen. This is the opposite: every piece is built for your team, around the way they already work, connected to the tools they already use. It goes in live, one piece at a time, with training every week, so by week eight they're running on it rather than figuring it out.

We handle sensitive information. Patients, legal files, payroll. Still fine?

Yes, and that changes how we build, not whether we can. Regulated information gets stricter rules: tighter access, human sign-off on anything that touches it, and we build to your industry's requirements rather than around them. On the first call we'll walk you through exactly how, for your specific rules.

Who fixes it if something breaks in month three?

If you're on the optional retainer, we do, as part of it. If you're not, your team uses the documentation from the handover, or you call us in for the fix. Either way you're never locked out of your own system: it runs on your accounts and your team holds the keys.

What happens if we stop working together?

Nothing switches off. Everything is built inside your own accounts from day one, so the system and its data are already yours before the build even finishes. There's no licence to renew and no platform fee to us. Your team holds the keys and the documentation, and it keeps running exactly as it did.

See what yours would look like.

A 30-minute call. We map where your hours go and show you what an operating system would change. No pitch deck. If it's not clearly worth it, we'll tell you straight.
